Ciao Emilia

December 12th, 2017

Exchange student, Emilia Stazi recently returned to her home in Italy after enjoying a semester in Australia. Emilia’s letter of thanks exemplifies our aspiration for each girl to become her best self; a global thinker who is competent, confident, happy and ready to live life to the full.

Ciao Emilia.

Hi Mrs Fitz- Gerald,

I sincerely want to say ‘thank you‘ for having accepted me in your beautiful and creative school and for giving me the possibility to meet fantastic people.
I really enjoyed every single moment at Mater Christi with such great and brilliant students, teachers and staff ready to support me always and all the activities I took part of which contributed to make me grow more than I expected.

Your school gave me the strength, creativity and courage to be the change that I wish to see in the world and I am so thankful for this. I did not learn only important knowledges for my future and present school life, at the same time I learnt a lot for my personal and social life and I think it is one of the most important things that a school has to give to a young student.

I have to say that I am going to miss everything and everyone, especially the stimulating and cosy atmosphere that makes everyone feel welcomed, at home and part of a big supportive and great community, always.
Thank you for having given me this transformative opportunity.

Goodbye
Emilia
