LIBRARY & INFORMATION WEEK - 29 July - 4 August 2024

LIBRARY AND INFORMATION WEEK celebrates the invaluable contributions of libraries and information professionals.

At Mater Christi, we are incredibly lucky to have our LEARNING COMMONS, which is so much more than a library. It is the heart and hub of the College!

Our amazing Learning Commons team is always on hand to welcome students and staff with a friendly smile and assist them with finding the information and resources they need. They run two Book Clubs, Fuse Cup, Minecraft Club, Crochet Club & Makerspace. They teach students how to use technology such as drones, the 3D printer, and Sphero Balls. They run all sorts of creative and knowledge-based lunchtime activities. They live and breathe books! And they LOVE a good dress-up day!

Our students say the Learning Commons is:
