Students travelling to Mater Christi College may be eligible to claim financial assistance in the form of a conveyance allowance.
In summary, to qualify for the conveyance allowance, a student must reside 4.8km or more by the shortest practicable route from the College.
For each eligible student who travels to school by public transport or private car, the College will pay the allowance via the school fee account.
Parents with students travelling on the charter buses are required to give consent for the College to withhold the conveyance allowance. This enables the College to provide the charter service at a reduced cost for all users.
Please note:
- public transport applications must include proof of purchase of a half-yearly or yearly Victorian Student Pass.
- applicants who were previously declined, should re-apply only if they have changed their home address.
