Three pieces of exceptional student artwork have recently been recognised and included as part of the Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools (MACS) Creative Arts Exhibition.
Each year, students from Catholic schools around Victoria are chosen to display their work at the exhibition, that runs in conjunction with Catholic Education Week.
Talia Laurence, Megan Prass and Alex Pirotta from Year 10, all had artwork selected and displayed which is a significant achievement.
In addition to the prestige of being included in the exhibition, two students received awards for particularly outstanding work.
Talia received both the Archbishop of Melbourne Award for Religious Art and the Executive Director’s Acquisition Award and Megan received the Executive Director’s Acquisition Award.
Talia and Megan’s pieces have been chosen to remain at MACS for the rest of the year, as the 2021 Acquisition work.
These achievements follow months of planning and creative development and are testament to the talent and commitment of all three students.
