Middle School Swimming
Early in the Term our Middle School students enjoyed the sunshine at Belgrave Pool, for their Middle School Swimming Carnival. The overall enthusiasm, participation and support for peers was outstanding, in fact, the cheering could be heard all the way back to the College. Lyons won Best Overall Swim and Gibbons won the House Spirit Award.
Chalk Art Competition
In keeping with the spirit of International Women's Day, our annual House Chalk Art Competition focused on the creation of a world free of bias, stereotypes and discrimination. As always, we were amazed by the creativity and quality of work the students produced, collaboratively, in such a short time. Best chalk artwork went to MacKillop.
Whole School Athletics Carnival
The ‘can do’ energy of girls was on full display at the House Athletics Carnival in March. Despite it being a competition, the students approached the day with a sense of humour, cheering each other on, and everyone joined in and had a go. The weather was perfect too. Lyons took out the Cup, and Chisholm won the House Spirit award.
