2025 Sports Awards Breakfast

We were privileged to welcome back Mater Christi alumna, Clare Pettyfor as the special guest speaker. Clare has excelled on the netball court as a 100-game VNL player and Hawks captain whilst forging a career in AFL marketing/communications and operations. She has held senior leadership roles at Hawthorn, Collingwood, and Melbourne, and is now Melbourne’s Chief Communications Officer and also leads Melbourne's AFLW Program as General Manager. Clare’s story is one of passion, resilience and courage — and we were delighted she was able to join us to inspire our community.

Ours Sports Captains, Aleisha and Amber, delivered highlights from across the year and awards presented for outstanding achievements across CGSAV, inter-school, and Mater Christi competitions. a

And finally our highly coveted JUNIOR, INTERMEDIATE, and SENIOR SPORTS WOMEN OF THE YEAR were announced. Congratulations to MATILDA CC (Junior), ISABELLE G (Intermediate) and AMBER C (Senior). 👏 👏 👏
