Tours & Tasters

College Tour

A College Tour is the best way to learn more about our vibrant, inclusive community and the ways in which we consistently deliver excellence in all-girls education.

We are incredibly proud of our forward-thinking academic programs, commitment to student wellbeing, and extensive co-curricular program – and we look forward to sharing these with you.

Tours begin with a presentation from our Principal, Maria Haggett, followed by a guided tour of our facilities, and conclude with a morning tea where you are invited to ask further questions and meet various Mater Christi staff and students.

Tours run throughout Terms 1 – 3 and are very popular, so book yours today! Our LAST TOUR for the year is Tuesday 13 August.

Taster Morning

As an extension of our School Tours, we welcome Grades 4 and 5 girls to join us for a Taster Morning.

During these sessions (9:30am - 12:00pm) students explore the school, join classroom activities, and experience our vibrant, warm, and inclusive learning environment. They will also have the opportunity to meet some current students and ask questions about life at Mater Christi.

What Families love about the Taster Morning

We are grateful our daughter had this wonderful opportunity to experience Mater Christi College. It left her feeling inspired, she spoke with a lot of enthusiasm of the Taster Morning and has high hopes that she can attend the College one day.
My daughter commented on the kindness and respect everyone has shown, and as one of the youngest on the day, she was being treated equally.
Your students did really well to engage with their younger visitors and share their passion for learning.
My daughter absolutely loved the experience and spoke highly of all Mater Christi students who were involved in the Taster Morning. She appreciated everything about the experience and observed how everyone showed kindness and respect to each other.
The communication is fantastic, and also my daughter came away really positive on her choices of enrolling at Mater.
My daughter really enjoyed the morning, I feel the program is an amazing experience for the girls to see what the next step in their learning journey would be like.
My daughter had a great time on her taster day. She loved her experience, and I think these types of days will really help ease any nerves she has about high school. Thank you.
My daughter gets anxious easily & this taster day was brilliant to help her be excited about high school.
My daughter loved the experience and is looking forward to coming to MCC next  year.
We couldn't have hoped for a better response from our daughter. Not even at the bottom of the College front stairs, she said, "Mum! That was the best day! I want to come back again. This is the best day of my life. I had so much fun and made new friends even though I didn’t know anyone. Everyone
was so nice!". Jana
