Years 7 & 8
The move into secondary school is an exciting and challenging time. Girls need special care at this age and are supported by a week of transition activities to settle into new routines, courses, teachers, and friendships.
Year 7 Curriculum
Students take subjects that are developed and taught using the Victorian Curriculum 2.0 and include the following learning areas:
- Arts - Art and Performing Arts (Dance, Drama and Music)
- English
- Health and Physical Education
- Humanities
- Languages - French and Chinese
- Mathematics
- Religious Education
- Science
- Design and Technologies - Design Technology (Textiles) and Digital Technologies
Year 8 Curriculum
Students take subjects that are developed and taught using the Victorian Curriculum 2.0 and include the following learning areas:
- Arts - Art and Performing Arts (Dance, Drama and Music)
- English
- Health and Physical Education
- Humanities
- Languages - students choose either French or Chinese
- Mathematics
- Religious Education
- Science
- Design and Technologies - Food Technology
