We are committed to developing informed, compassionate and creative young women who are actively engaged in building a better world.

As part of this commitment, the College wants to make it possible for more girls to benefit from our contemporary approach to all-girls education.

Senior School Scholarships

We are pleased to award a number of scholarships (for up to 50% of tuition fees) to students entering Year 10 in 2025.

To obtain a Senior School Scholarship, students must demonstrate excellence in their academic studies and endeavours and have made a positive and significant contribution to their school and/or broader community.  

This three-year Senior School Scholarship is designed to support students who complete their Year 10 and VCE studies at Mater Christi College. The scholarship relates to tuition costs only. Other costs and levies remain payable by parents and carers.

Students currently enrolled in Year 9 at Mater Christi or another school are eligible to apply.

One essential component in awarding these Scholarships is the ACER Level 2 Scholarship Test. Please find important details below:

  • Completion of the online registration form, along with submission of your child’s most recent NAPLAN and School Reports via the Scholarship Test registration page, serves as the official application for the Senior School Scholarship.  
  • A $105 non-refundable application fee is payable at the time of registration for the Scholarship Test.  
  • Scholarship Test registrations will open on Monday 22 July, and close on Monday 12 August 2024.  
  • Students will sit the scholarship test on Thursday 22 August, 3.45pm – 6.00pm at the College.  
  • Students are to provide a hard copy of their Curriculum Vitae at the Scholarship Testing session that outlines their achievements and contributions to school and community life.
  • Further information regarding arrangements for the Scholarship Test session and the timeline for offers will be sent to applicants on Tuesday 13 August.
