Mater on LIVEFM

Year 11 VCE students recently worked with Ralph Barba from LIVEFM - learning the ins and outs of live radio - as part of their Vocational Major Personal Development subject. The students researched and designed interview questions for their guests and conducted the interviews themselves.

Guests included staff and students, as well as some of our wonderful alumnae, who visited the College to talk about their jobs and how they relate to our 2024 College Theme—Kindness Transforms Community.

“Thank you. It was a lovely experience, and the students were so poised, informed and curious. They conducted themselves so professionally which made the experience amazing for me as an interviewee.” - Zamantha

Our sincere thanks to alumnae Zamantha Romero, Ashvina De Zoysa, Tricia Malowney, and Shelley Ligtermoet. Staff members, Amanda Morris, Kate Hazeldine, Deepika Dissanayake, Amanda Bischof-Foster, and Sami Browers.   Students Sienna Aldons, Isabella Palandri, and Abbey Pires. And to Ralph Barba for his expertise.

We can't wait to hear the program go to air later this year!
