Friends of Mater Association (FOMA)
We value feedback and input from the Mater Christi College community at any time and believe a positive and collaborative partnership between families and the College enhances the secondary school experience for our students.
As part of this process, the Friends of Mater Association (FOMA) was established in 2022, to provide an opportunity for interested parents, carers, alumnae, staff, and friends of Mater Christi to contribute their ideas and support the continued development of a sense of community, at and beyond the College.
FOMA aims to:
- promote an inclusive and just College community, in the spirit of our Good Samaritan Benedictine heritage,
- promote positive partnerships between parents/carers and the College, and
- welcome new families and foster the participation of new and existing families, through activities such as functions, resources, and outreach.
Expressions of interest for FOMA membership are welcome at any time via mcc@materchristi.edu.au, and all Mater Christi alumnae, parents and carers are automatic members.
The group meets 9 - 11 times per year, either at the College or online.
