2026 Learning Area Leader

This position provides a significant opportunity to excercise educational leadership to improve learning and teaching within the Mathematics Learning Areas.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead the design and delivery of innovative, high quality curriculum programs aligned with Victorian Curriculum, VCE and College values.
• Champion evidence-based teaching and assessment practices that inspire learning and lift student outcomes.
• Mentor and empower Learning Areas staff through collaboration, professional growth and shared expertise.
• Oversee operations including assessment, reporting, audits, excursions, resources and budgets with efficiency and vision.
• Create rich opportunities for students to extend their learning beyound the classroom through enrichment, community and service programs.
• Play a key role in College life by coordinating exams, supporting awards, and showcasing learning through communications and events.

The successful applicant will work within a supportive and inclusive environment, in the natural surroundings of Melbourne's beautiful Dandenong Ranges.

This position is 0.2 FTE, and can be incorporated into a full-time teaching position at the College.
