Mater moments

Dan has spent the last 26 years working in facilities, maintenance, and security roles in various organisations, including the Indian Consulate, Ernst & Young & Ericsson (telecommunications).

With a Diploma in Facilities Management, Dan has also worked at M-City in Clayton, the largest mixed-use development in Melbourne consisting of three residential towers, a Park Royal Hotel and a retail precinct.

“I managed the 664 apartments at M-City – it was like running a small town.”

However, Dan is a man of many talents and has also worked as a kindergarten assistant after obtaining a Diploma in Early Childhood while his own children were young.

No job is too big or small for Dan, and he is already known at Mater Christi for his friendly, easy-going approach and ‘can do’ attitude.

“I am big on customer service and enjoy problem-solving. I will always find a way to make something work.”

Dan has been enjoying getting to know the staff and students at Mater Christi and describes the College as a ‘feel-good community and an environment that allows for opportunity. I’m thrilled to have chosen the College for my own children.’
